just returned back from an exercise yesterday. so tiring, body was aching like hell due to the awkward positions made when attempting to sleep. was at the boat the whole 2 nights. boat was dirty. and the only space i had was half a stretcher. argh. i missed my bed especially during the 2 nights. it has been long since i last went for a real exercise. 3 days of NOT bathing. 3 days of combat rations ( i brought my whole food though but it stills suxs ) . 3 days of serious uncomfortable sleep. but then again, at least i wasn't feeling controlled nor scolded during these 3 days unlike the exercises i had when i was a trainee. still remember how i get screwed for the slightest things. how i did pumpings in MUD. how tiring i felt but STILL had to dig trenches. how my WHOLE body was covered with mud YET still had to carry on. how desperate I was to have something better to eat that i sneaked into the deep forest alone just to cook 1 pathetic packet of maggi mee( it wasn't allowed actually ). how tired i was that i could actually fall asleep anywhere, despite how bad living conditions were. remember how i get rashes all over my body YET still have to report back camp on SUNDAY night. can't believe i survived all that. but still, i am proud of it. at least i once felt like a soldier then. LOL.
this exercise, compared to the past fews, was so much better. i only need to sit on the boats, and get to see tanks "swim". WOW. i was amazed how tanks can stay afloat in water! other than that, i am really thankful i no longer need to suffer all the outfields, wearing my no 4 and SBO, and that i can return home every night to have a good bath, relax at home, go to the gym, give tuitions, sleep on my comfy bed, swim, and log on to MSN to chat with my wonderful peers! ha. and YES, excuse myself from rashes.
