Firstly, Happy 21st girl! Sounds cliche, but time flies really fast. Remembered how I was walking around library getting everybody to sign your collage, and it has been a year already! Gosh. Hopefully your wish like losing your PT will come true :P

And as I was mentioning how time flies, I have left Singapore for 13 days! This feels so short as the only place I have toured so far are London and Marrakech. Great experience definitely, but I can't wait to travel to other parts of Europe. Hopefully things are fine on Singapore side!

Lovely farewell presents // already 13 days. Love the collage specially. SA buds, you the best!
I am kinda lazy to blog everything about my trip because JJ (jjtraversinglife.blogspot.com) has covered most already. Oh, he has a new name in Bath and I am sure he is gonna use it permanently from now on. No prizes for guessing but he named himself "Jay". Till now, all of us still burst out laughing whenever he introduces himself to new people: "Hi, I am Jay, Jay Tong." LOL.
So Bath is really a nice place. Some pictures in London just before we left for Bath. Thank Jose for putting us up at her place. Our shit kinda stinked and I even wet her toilet, but she still kindly brought us around London's famous night spots and we ate the biggest portion Jap food ever man. Ha, remembered how I got so tired at night and dozed off while chatting with them halfway!

Finally reached Bath on the 21 September. Uncle Asoka, my dad's good friend, offered to drive us from his home in London to Bath. We took almost 5 hours and I am extremely touched by his kindness. His family is very hospitable and thank to them, we had great food and music throughout the whole journey. It was funny how Jay was trying to keep awake during the journey to Bath and started talking rubbish when I was in the midst of a conversation with Uncle Asoka. Damn irritating, but funny on hindsight. Without him, I wouldn't have checked into my accomodation so smoothly.

Room Still-in-Progress.
Upon reaching Bath, J and I decided to go for a walk and Bath is indeed scenic. Nice rivers, lakes, fountains, buildings, churches, weather - seems perfect for retirement spot, but unfortunately living standards here are too high. Shops close at 5 here so night life can get quite boring. ( The most happening place now at night seems to be the University's clubs and pubs. )

Woke up early on Day 2. Decided to go for a jog to our University and it was rather weird and uncomfortable wearing track pants and long sleeve to run. The run was really a great start for me to exercise again. Have been rotting too much and i am starting to have "sexy" love handles again. Weather was really cooling so fatigue never really set in for me. Poor tummy Jay was trying to keep up with me running up a steep hill for about 2km before we finally reach our University front! Ha, time to exercise more, buddy!

University of Bath is rather similar to NUS and I got real excited when I saw the 50m indoor pool in the world class Sports Hall. Guess my life will be meeting new people, skipping lectures and swimming for the next 3 months! haha.
Had a great dinner feast last night but pictures are not ready yet. I cooked dinner and there's lot of room for improvement. All of us were kinda dying from my oily pasta and steak though they kindly complimented on my great cooking, haha.
Alright, damn tired right now. I am gonna crash. Hopefully life in Bath will get even better. Can't wait to meet new people.
More pictures of London and Uncle Asoka's place. Though small, but really cosy.

London Eye and Tower of London (look behind us!)

.back from sahara desert.
Finally back to Marrakech from Sahara Desert. Resting at the Riad and I am so thankfully and blessed that I am back here safely with the rest. It has been a great experience and I love riding camels! Met some new people as well but overall, I really love the place...
Sometimes though, I do miss Singapore. Will be heading back to London in 7 hour time. Hopefully, I will be able to find my lost camera in the airport. Pretty excited to return back to London, but I guess I will dread the weather there. Getting cold :P
Am falling sick. :(

.in Morocco.
Howdy all! Haven't been blogging ever since I left for Europe. How fast time really flies and it has already been 5 days man. Was touring London before coming to Morocco and the experience has been wonderful so far. As usual, I had suffered a few stupid(& expensive) cock-ups [I lost my 8.0 megapixels camera loaned from my dad! ] and I really hated myself on hindsight. Could have been more careful and alert and wouldn't have needed to pay for such a expensive experience.
Alright, back to all the experiences I had so far..
Firstly, thank you all for coming to send me off from the airport! You guys are really nice and I feel so loved man. I am using my friend's lappie right now so i dont have these photos with me! Anywayss, according to arrival time on the 12th, thanks to.......
1) PCG Friends
Thank you for waiting for me throughout the whole time and praying for me. (Vincent, Colin, Chelsea, Kelwin, Shawn, Corrine, Debbie, Gilbert ) I really felt God's words and I have been really blessed to live through all these experiences so far - learning to be more independent and composed when it comes to handling cock-ups. I thank god for that. I can't wait to attend PCG and go back to church but yeah, in the meantime, do keep me updated and i love you guys!
2) Zhicheng

3) Peggen and Chan
Thanks Chan first for coming. Haha. Pegs, all the sweetish emails and all, omg, don't make me miss you more please! Krispykremes here are really really expensive, so I tell you straight up, NO krispykremes from Europe! Get Missy Donuts from BPP!! HAHAHAHAHAA.

Tim, Fiona, Ryan, Huiyi, Kelly, Danc, Jason & Serene : Thanks all for all your kind gestures there. Those who didn't come, thanks for calling and emailing. So London is my first touring point. There were so many points when I can't believe I am actually in London. haha. Visiting so many touring spots ( London Eye, Tower of London, Big Ben, London Bridge, Museums, St James Park, St Pauls Cathedral etc. ) has been a great experience. Thanks JJ for being my photographer. Was still suffering from jetlag and I finally recovered today in Morocco. I love London for the weather and food has been sucky man. Haha. I haven't been shopping as well and all I did was to tour around and explore London. Blessed to have Uncle Asoka & family to store my luggage at his place and to cook breakfast and lunch for me during my first day of stay in London. All the constant calls from him remind me of my dad back in Singapore. haha. What really interest me in London was the 3rd day visit to Covent Garden market. There were so many performances and they were really of high standards man. Its like watching a play that has been rehearsed for maybe 4-5 months haha.

Met Jose on the 3rd day. Her hostel at Sumner Street is really quite spacious and thanks for the accomodation. So sorry for shutting down really early because I was really cold and tired. haha. Cockups like missing the coach thanks to the unreliable taxi service did spoil my day a little but we still manage to make it to Luton hotel. phew. Bye London as I head on to Morocco.
Luton Airport experience. OMG.
Worse in my life. Went to the airport feeling quite pissed over the coach incident. Then, I didn't check in my luggage because I thought it was quite light anyway and I totally neglected the " No bringing of liquids" rule. In the end, at the baggage checking station, I was told to remove all items from my luggage and they wanted to throw away $100+ worth of liquid items. At that time I was so stubborn and decided to attempt checking in my baggage. I went to the counter and it was already close. I panicked and started packing my bag there again. I left my passport there as I went up to the baggage checking counter... I realised I lost my passport and I ran back to the baggage checkin counter and was relieved to find it. Then, I was so tired and dying already. I went up and couldn't get through the scanner, then I had to go through full bodycheck and found out it was my camera. While flustered, I threw my camera to the conveyor belt ( and that was when I bid farewell to my camera ). 10 minutes to my flight and I was damn worried. Argh. I ran off towards my gate (whcih was damn farrrrrr arghh) with my haversack and halfway, I REALSE I FORGOT MY JACKET. I LEFT IT AT THE SCANNING COUNTER. ARGHHHHHHHHH. I ran back and that was the final. After which, running to catch my flight was the worse thing that happened man. Sweating profusely, legs weaken and all.. freak, I wished I had just checked in the baggage in the first place. Managed to catch the plane ... but I was really sweating and suffering.. argh. As the plane started to move off, I realised i left my camera in the airport. sigh.
Now at morocco, I checked into a very nice Riad ( www.riadkalila.com ) The place itself seems quite unsafe but I guess as long as you are careful, nothing will really happen. I will pray for our safety.. Was shopping around the town and it was like Chatuchak. At night, ate a feast.. ( Morocco Soup, Kebab, their famous rice with chicken, and the very famous orange juice! ) Will post photos soon! Alright, they are waiting for me for breakfast. Take care all.
Wait for the next post. :)

.miss.
Blame myself for last minute. Busy packing now yet still blogging. Panic attack.
Singapore OPEN 2007 had finally come to an end. Ended with a bad note as we didn't manage to claim victory for the last 2 games on Sunday. I was rather disappointed with myself for not being able to lead by example and screwed up my play as well. Definitely not satisfying but like I always tell myself to pick myself up and learn to do better the next time round. Saturday's game was so much better as the team morale was high and mental was strong among the whole team. We fought very hard and defense was so tight that our opponents really feared us. At least I am glad that the team now know that nothing is impossible and with a strong mental to win and push on, our team can do it. I will miss you guys, team SM* Ultimate as I leave for my exchange in 3 days time.
Now that this has come to an end, I am finally ready to leave. Just some packing here and there, as I constantly hear naggings from my family ( Yes, brother included ) to pack pack pack and stop slacking. I wanted to have a nap just now and got scolded by my mum. lol. At least I know these are the people who are forever concerned over me and I can always trust them to be there when I need them. Very touched.
And also, friends like the Sec School guys, JC peeps, best buddies, and uni friends... I wonder why it's so sad to leave you guys even though i don't really meet the bulk of you that often anyway when I am in Singapore. I guess, sometimes, I fail as a friend because most of you out there put in so much more effort than me to maintain the friendship that we built up in the different phase of my lives. Sorry people, yet thanks for always being there.
Back to packing as I am gonna leave my family(& my love) and my friends in 3 days time.
// tell me that you care, as I leave, you worry me most.
work hard, juggle well, and everything will turn out fine.
