Thursday, September 09, 2004 .the best army life i had.
had the best army life ever on Monday. went on a sea expedition as a lifeguard and YES, its so darn fun. went all the way to sentosa from camp by Assault Boats.. passed by places like Sengkang, Pasir Ris Park, Changi Village, Changi Naval Base which is protected!, Bedok Jetty, East Coast Park, Sembawang Park, Pasir Panjang, PSA, Siloso Beach, and many many many many more! what an experience, and the best thing is, i don't need to pay a single cent! At Sentosa, we had BBQ at night! SHIOK. BUT the sacrifices i had to make were countless sandflies bites and very very bad sleep. ha, but still its worth it. :) published some pics that i took : -

after a long long long 5 hours, we finally reached our destination, Pulau Hantu( Small Ghost Town ).. what a place to go on the 7th month

the place i slept for the night. extremely cooling at night, but the mosquitoes and weird flies that attacked me are OUTRAGEOUS, so i ended up sleeping for only about 2 hours. damn.
erm. despite 2 hours of sleep.. i still woke up feeling refreshed yet a little dizzy. YES, and I still can take a pic of myself.

wohoo! i am ramming the assault boat at a damn high speed. look at the waves you will know. ha. the feeling is really good, though my butt still hurts after this. imagine ramming the boat for 4 hours..

phew, AT LAST. all pics uploaded. don't get jealous over my life. :) too bad events like these don't happen all the time. :( i love the SEA. i love the carefree life. i love MY army life.
