army half marathon today is such an experience. i conquered all the aching and completed my first 21km run. i am surprised i did it actually, without stopping at any point of time. i can't say i am good, but yes, i am pretty satisfied with myself. thats why i like my army life. allowing me to do the stuff i never thought i can ever do, such as getting in inter-formation swimming and waterpolo, completing a triathelon , finishing a 16km run followed by a 21km run, and did quite well in fact! perhaps its my determination, my competitiveness and the pride i have in me. still, there are many flaws in me i need to change, and many more barriers to conquer, such as dealing with weird and fucked-up people, win as many prizes in the coming swimming competition, and ORD with more achievements to come! I don't want a life with nothing to be proud of. army changes me. i have to agree. without army, there wouldn't be such a determined me wanting to excel in whatever i do, conquering my limits, and so far fare quite well with the number of achievements i have made. i am proud of myself. yes i do, but still it isn't enough. its never enough.
