finally, chinese new year is almost over. major visitings, gatherings and long holidays are coming to an end. this year.. is relatively quiet compared to the previous years. fewer people are holding on to the beliefs of chinese new year, especially the younger generations like us. Sometimes, i wonder whether all these relative-visitings events will still continue when our parents' generation passed on to us. Most of us felt obliged more than willing to entertain such beliefs. its a pity if chinese new year eventually turns out to be just another normal public holiday in future. seeing all the younger couples disappearing one by one during chinese new year, i can foresee this might actually turn to reality. pity.
On a brighter note, I won quite a sum in gambling this year! Its a good start.
