Day 2 was spent with Dicks visiting his University and his canteen that provide yummy buffet and desserts, trying to find the damn heavenly ice-cream shop but in vain, walking around their premier shopping street Stroget (the Orchard Road in Copenhagen), visiting the Guiness World Records (which we both think suck. haha ), the free town of Christinia where the whole area isn't governed by Copenhagen, and eating the awesome Strawberry Pastry at Christianshavn.
The buffet I ate at Dick's University and the wide-spread dessert selection

Guiness World Records. 66 Kr and me trying to give the wth look. haha

Stroget and free town Christinia. No photography allowed.

Just before we head on to Peggy's house for dinner, I wanted to visit the Tivoli at night but it was closed for winter. Suck. haha. Took some pictures though and I realise the town is extremely vibrant at night!
Peggy's spacious Residence and Dinner! Marcus cooked and it was fantastic. The baked pastas and wild boar which Dicks loved. Thanks Pegs for hosting and Marcus and H for cooking :P

Met Ben at night and he was initially furious as I didn't keep to the time and got him stranded outside his room. Sorry! But nevertheless, the 3 of us had a great talk about untapped potential in Europe and Ben sharing his experiences in Russia. Good to see them.
Day 3:- Lightbulb with H and M (Huiling and Marcus ) haha. I just realised.
Met them at 10 at the tourist information centre and embarked on our day trip in Copenhagen! We walked from Stroget to Amalienborg Palace of Christian VIII where we catch the Changing of Guard parade. Next, we walked into Frederikskirken - known as the Marble Church and spent some quiet time there.
After which, we rushed to Nyhavn and took the 1215 canal tour. The weather suddenly turned sunny and Marcus and I concluded how the weather subsconciously affect our mood.

The Canal Tour
Nyhavn - picturesque harbour canal. It is literally translated into New Habor but some brief history. It was established on the initiative of King Christian V as early as 1671 and was intended as a harbor for Kongens Nytorv. The purpose was to draw traffic and commerce into the very heart of the city and allowed the merchants to build their houses along the wharves. And this was the place where the sailors hung out when they came ashore!
My tulip hot-dog before the canal tour.
After the tour, it was basically completing the rest of the walking tour. On our way to Langelinje and the Little Mermaid, we came across the very beautiful St Alban Church and the largest monument in Copenhagen, the Gefion Fountain built in 1908 which we "pee-ed" in it! It depicts the mythical story of the creation of Zealand- The Swedish king had promised Gefion as much territory as she could plough in one day and one night. She then turned her four sons into oxen and the territory they ploughed out of the earth was thrown into the sea to form the island of Zealand!
We then grab a picture at the Little Mermaid (indeed little) which was created by sculptor Edward Eriksen, donated by Carlsberg famour brewer, Carl Jacobsen, and inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's beautiful fairytale. The whole Langelinje was so romantic and I think I spoilt H&M romantic moments. haha. Sorry! We ended the tour at the Round Tower which reached its ful height of 35m in 1642. It was supposedy the last of the king's numerous building projects and it has a magnificient view of the old city 35m above the street!
A very orange town and cyclists on their road.

Had dinner at Ben's before we head out for clubbing at Kulo Bar! He cooked pasta and cabbage and Dicks cooked chicken with coke. Surprisingly yummy man. haha.
Clubbing at Kulo Bar was bad. I couldn't recall much but these were pictures before I got a little dizzy.
Ben gave me these.

The last day was spent with Ben touring around Stroget (again) and lunching at Jensen Bofhus (say Yen-sen Boar-fus) which we took almost an hour finding. It was unlimited sides so we ate lots of potatoes! Catched up a lot during the meal and found the heavenly ice-cream shop which Dicks was saying! Test and proven. 2 thumbs up.
So Copenhagen - a very peaceful small city with wonderful people. Danish girls are pretty and the waitress at Jensen Bafhus was amazingly friendly! I just realised she had written Thank You on the receipt. Haha.
So, the 2 brothers over there, take care and see you at Amsterdam next week.
